Campanile
The bell-tower dominating Piazza San Marco and symbol of Venice offers a beautiful panorama over the city and the lagoon. The Campanile collapsed in 1902, but today's Campanile is a faithful reconstruction of the model of the 15th C.

Doge's Palace
Headquarters of the rulers of the city for about 900 years. It was the seat of the government and judicial powers, and also served as a prison. It was built in the 12C., but was completely transformed between the 13C. and the 16C.
Bridge of Sighs (Ponte dei Sopiri)
The Bridge of Sighs connects the Doge's Palace with the prisons (Prigioni Nuove). The prisoners walked over the bridge to their final destinations, having a last look over beautiful Venice, hence the bridge's name.

Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari
A great Franciscan Church with an Assumtion of the Virgin by Titian in its main Chapel (Cappella Maggiore). The name "Frari" derives from Fra(ti Mino)ri.
Ca' d'Oro
The house has lost most of its gilded decoration which gave it its name (which literally means "Golden house"), but is still considered as one of the most beautiful palazzos on the Grand Canal. Its elegant facade in the ornate Gothic style.

Considered Italy's most important museum for 20th-century European and American Modern Art. Guggenheim's collection includes some of the most representative works of Cubism, Surrealism, Expressionism, Futurism, Metaphysical painting and Abstractism.
Rialto bridge (Ponte di Rialto)
Built by Antonio da Ponte and opened in 1591, the present bridge is the sixth version, but the first one built in stone. The original 12C bridge was built in wood.
